The official ceremony took place in the Ilyich Depot at Belorussky railway station. The honored guests of the event were Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin, the Ambassador of Switzerland to Russia, Pierre Helg, and the Ambassador of Belarus to Russia, Igor Petrishenko.

The arrival of the train was accompanied by a light show: a beautiful train named Eurasia entered the depot in the light of dozens of floodlights, to solemn music, followed by the official part, a walking tour inside the train, a photo shoot and media scrums.
